Where I Get My Materials

Hello and welcome back! In this week's article I want to share my favorite supplies and where I get them! If you have any questions feel free to contact me through my Instagram @mandys.mystical.market

I have a wide variety of supplies I use in my business because I make so many different products! But I can basically sum it up into four groups; wire, beads, yarn, and tools. So today I will share my favorite places to buy from or my top two favorite materials!

First, wire. I use wire for a variety of things such as wrapped pendants and making earrings. I use two types of wire, a larger and smaller wire. For my large wire I typically use 16 gauge and for my smaller wire I use 24 or 26 gauge wire. I really like this assorted pack of wire from Michaels. It has two silver spools of wire (which I use the most), one spool of gold, and one spool or rose gold. I also like to use this 16 gauge wire in gold and silver!

When looking for my beads, I alway find myself getting distracted in the glorious Michaels bead section. The store has a great assortment of gemstones as well as unique beads. They carry a variety of different beads as well as seed beads which are good for smaller, detailed pieces like earrings.

I also enjoy the Michaels yarn section. They have a great variety of colors and fun textures. For most of my pieces I use size 5 acrylic or cotton yarn which is pretty common.

Lastly, I also love to get all my tools from Michaels. I buy needle nose pliers as well as flat nose pliers and wire cutters.

Michaels is by far my favorite store for all your crafting needs. They offer a great rewards system that allows you to earn points and earn coupons. They also have frequent sales!
